Data & Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and establish Trend’s internal data capabilities. This is a newly created role, ideal for a self-starter who’s excited to define and optimize how data is collected, analyzed, and applied across the organization. You’ll work closely with leadership to translate complex data into clear insights and help guide high-impact decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement scalable processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources (marketing campaigns, sales data, financial reports, operational data, etc.)
- Identify key trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions and improve client outcomes
- Design and build tools, dashboards, metrics, and visualizations that translate data into actionable insights
- Analyze financial performance data to support budget planning, forecasting, and executive reporting
- Collaborate with leadership, account managers, and other teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and systems to strengthen Trend’s data infrastructure
- Establish and document best practices for data governance, reporting accuracy, and consistency
- Communicate complex data and financial concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Knowledge of influencer marketing, advertising, or agency settings is a plus
- Experience working with financial data (e.g., P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting) is a major plus
